The year started off on a very high note for the power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma as they finally embraced parenthood and welcomed their first baby just recently. Virat Kohli announced on Monday on his social media that he and his wife Anushka Sharma were blessed with a baby girl!
The cricketer announced the birth of his and Anushka's first child through a social media post which read:
"We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time."

As the couple just welcomed their baby girl, they are still reeling in the unimaginable joy of embracing parenthood, hence, the cricketer also urged everyone to respect their privacy at this time.
