Sometime back the Bhartiya Janata Party decided to take a dig at the ruling Trinamool Congress Party by launching a song with a twist to the hit 'Bella Ciao.' In order to respond to this dig, the ruling Trinamool recently hit back at BJP with a customized version of the latest 'pawri ho rahi hai' trend.
BJP released a catchy tune on 20th February which is a twist to Netflix's hit Money Heist's 'Bella Ciao.' BJP replaced 'Bella Ciao' with 'Pishi Jao.' This was indirectly aimed at Mamata Banerjee and her nephew Abhishek Banerjee. Check out the song below:
A tune from Communist Italy, sung to protest against atrocities, echoes once again in West Bengal as people stand up to the injustices of the ruling dispensation.

Responding to this, TMC released another version of the 'pawri ho rahi hai' trend. TMC tweeted a picture of BJP's public meeting where the chairs were empty and no people were seen attending it. TMC captioned the pic: "Yeh Bengal BJP hai. Yeh unki jansabha hai. Aur yahaan inki pawri ho rahi hai!” Since then, TMC's tweet has made rounds on Twitter. Check out the tweet below:
Yeh @BJP4Bengal hai.
Yeh unki jansabha hai.
Aur yahaan inki pawri ho rahi hai!

Bhartiya Janata Party has constantly targeted TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee for overlooking the development of Bengal and other TMC leaders and just focussing on fulfilling the interests of her nephew Abhishek Banerjee. Several heavyweight politicians cited this reason after they quit TMC to join the Bhartiya Janata Party. These politicians included Suvendu Adhikari, Rajib Banerjee, and many others. The BJP has also been attacking Mamata Banerjee with 'Bhaipo Hatao' slogans.
The tussle between the two political parties is boiling at an alarming rate as the assembly elections in West Bengal approach. It is a very tough battle for Mamata Banerjee and her party with BJP aiming at winning over200 seats in the elections. The polls are due in April-May and the fight between BJP and TMC is expected to get much more heated in the due time.
