Kailash Vijayvargiya, BJP's national general secretary in-charge of Bengal, asked the question whether the police of Bengal had become so helpless. He tweeted, "Trinamool goons attacked a police station of Sundarbans in a scandalous attempt to extricate their fellow goons. I have a question for all the policemen. Has the Bengal Police become so helpless?".
In the second tweet, he wrote, "Now is the time to wake up, recognize your constitutional powers and use them for yourself and in the public interest and refuse to obey any unconstitutional order of your officers or ask for such order in writing". In the end, he said that the system is changing and every dutiful employee will get full protection under the new system.
