Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti deactivates all her social media accounts except Facebook. Since Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, Shweta Singh Kirti has been at the forefront, fighting to serve him justice.
However, it is still uncertain if Shweta Sing Kirti deactivated her social media pages herself as she did not announce the decision before acting on it.
Since SSR’s death, the case has taken on several twists and turns. First, the nepotism angle in the Bollywood industry was investigated. Then the charges of abetment of suicide were investigated when the actors family charged his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty of the same. Besides this, the Enforcement Directorate also investigated the angle of money laundering. Sushant Singh Rajput’s family had accused Rhea Chakraborty of abetment of suicide, money laundering, and isolating him from his family.
Initially, the case was investigated by the Mumbai Police. However, due to alleged inconsistencies in the investigation, the case was handed over to the CBI after wide public demand. The Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Buereau has also investigated the case.
Rhea Chakraborty was also arrested y the NCB in relation to a drug controversy that erupted while investigating SSR’s death case. However, after staying in prison for almost a month, the Bombay High Court granted her bail. Her brother Showik Chakraborty had also been arrested for the same cause but he is still spending his time in the prison.
Shweta Singh Kirti started the global movement named “Justice4SSR” that gained wide momentum. His last post on Twitter addressed the movement and she spoke about being strong in the fight. She wrote, ““Tough Times dont last, but Tough people do. We are strong and ever so powerful, we just need to believe in our own strength. Staying strong is an art and an unfailing promise to oneself that no matter what is thrown at me I'll never break down.”
