Competing in the Adria Tour, Grigor Dimitrov had to withdraw from the second stage of the exhibition tournament organized by Novak Djokovic. The Bulgarian tested positive for Covid-19. The tournament final is now canceled.
The problem is that last weekend the first stage of the Adria Tour took place without any social distancing (in accordance with the instructions imposed by the Serbian government) and Dimitrov was very close to many players such as Novak Djokovic, Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev.
As a result of Dimitrov's positive test, the second stage of the Adria Tour, in Zadar, will not have a final this Sunday evening. "We have just been informed of the positive result of the Grigor's Covid-19 test, we must cancel the final. It is the best possible decision. We must guarantee the safety of all participants. The people who have been in contact with Grigor will be tested,” said Goran Ivanisevic, the director of the event.

Well, that was not a match. Something wasn't quite alright with Dimitrov. He chose not to shake hands rather just fistpump the umpire. pic.twitter.com/FmHDVlHpAZ
