The whole world is scared of the corona virus. So far, around one and a half crore people have been affected all over the world. Of which more than six lakh people have died. India ranks third in the world in terms of transmission. The number of victims in India has already crossed one million. India, like many other countries in the world, is conducting research on vaccines. A total of seven companies in the country are working on making this vaccine.
- Covaxin, India Biotech
Covaxin, India Biotech Hyderabad is in the process of making this vaccine. Last week, India launched a human trial of Biotech Covaxin. So far the agency has received permission for clinical trials of Phase One and Phase Two.
- AstraZeneca, Serum Institute of India
The clinical trial of Serum Institute of India Phase III is underway in Astrazeneca. Work on the human trial of the vaccine will begin in August. The vaccine is expected to be available in India by the end of the year.
- Zycovid, Zydus Cadilla
The clinical trial of Zycovid will be completed in seven months. Work on its clinical trial began last week.
- Panacea Biotec
Although the Panacea Biotec vaccine is not named, Panacea Biotech is working on the vaccine. Refana from Ireland and the UnitedStates are working on this. They have said that they will make 50 crore vaccines. The agency said 40 million vaccines would be made by early next year.
- Indian Immunological Vaccine
It is a subsidiary of the Indian Immunological Vaccine National Dairy Development Board. They continue to work in collaboration with Griffith University in Australia.
The company claims that the vaccine will be ready in 18 months. The vaccine is available in the pre-clinical trial stage.

The vaccine developed by Biological E is also in the pre-clinical trial stage.
