Twitter account of PM Narendra Modi's personal website hacked

The Twitter account for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s personal website and the Narendra Modi Mobile app was reportedly hacked around 3:15 am on Thursday. The account has 2.5 million followers. A series of tweets asked followers to donate to PM National Relief Fund through cryptocurrency. The same have been since been taken down. Twitter said it was aware of the activity and has taken steps to secure the compromised account.

Mumbai Police forced Sushant Singh Rajput’s family to sign a statement

Sushant Singh Rajput’s family’s lawyer Vikas Singh, said that the Mumbai Police made his family members sign a statement written in Marathi. Addressing a press conference, Singh said that the late actor did not have any insurance policy added that the efforts to allege that the family is floating ‘ murder theory’ with an eye on the insurance money.

It’s game over for PUBG and 117 other Chinese apps

India on Wednesday banned Chinese mobile gaming app Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, and other 117 others, including Alipay and Baidu, amid a fresh spell of border tension between the two neighbors. The ministry said it has received several complaints and reports about the misuse of some mobile application available on Android and iOs platforms for stealing and transmitting user data in an unauthorized manner.

NEET, JEE Exams 2020 – Four pairs of special train between September 4 – 15 in Rajasthan

The Indian Railways will run four pairs of special pairs special trains in Rajasthan between September 4 and September 15 to help students appearing in the JEE Mains and NEET examinations. According to a tweet by Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Railways have decided to run these trains for the convenience of the students.

India's total coronavirus cases have increased to 38,53,406 after a record one-day spike of 83,883 cases. this is the biggest daily jump recorded by any country since the beginning of the pandemic. The death toll in the country has surged to 67,376 and coronavirus recoveries have reached 29,70,493. Meanwhile, active cases remain at 8,15,538.
