Patients can not be returned, State health department issues notice to hospitals

Verbal instructions did not work. Therefore, this time the state health department issued guidelines warning to take strict action to stop the harassment of corona patients in public and private hospitals.

Separate guidelines were issued for public and private hospitals on Tuesday night, saying the license of the private hospital concerned could be suspended under the Clinical Establishments Act if a patient receives a report of rejection. If a patient returns to a government hospital, action may be taken against the officer in charge for breach of discipline as per the service rule.

Superintendents of government hospitals have been asked to ensure that the directive is effective. The reason has been explained, guidelines have been issued at various times on how to prepare for the treatment of corona patients. That too was not interrupted by patient rejection. The behavior of hospitals has been described as ‘gossipy’ when it comes to complying with government directives. Last week, in a meeting with private hospitals, Chief Secretary Rajiv Singh warned of patient rejection. Some of the doctors think that the instructions of this day are so significant.
