On February 21, Sunday, the Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and wife Kareena Kapoor welcomed their second child, a baby boy, at their home. Taimur Ali Khan, their first child as well as social media’s young sensation has now become a four-year elder brother. The evergreen and senior-most actor of the Kapoor family, Randhir Kapoor, confirmed that daughter Kareena gave birth to the baby boy at 9 am at the Breach Candy Hospital. He added that both mother and the boy are healthy, and he said that he might soon visit the hospital to meet the new-born of the Pataudi family. However, a statement from the father, Saif Ali Khan is still awaited.

Social media started flooding with good wishes and Congratulations from several famous personalities. Fashion designer Manish Malhotra uploaded a picture of him and Kareena and felicitated the Pataudi family for the new arrival in the family. The actress’s cousin, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, wrote on social media, “Congratulations Bebo and Saif, it’s a boy!”
In August 2020, Kareena Kapoor had announced her pregnancy through her Instagram handle. To thank all their well-wishers, the actor couple had released a joint statement at the same time, which read, “We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family. Thank you to all our well-wishers for all their love and support.”

In an interview, Kareena explained that how did she feel about her pregnancy and how did she deal with it. “No, there has never been any plan that I have to do this or that. It’s just that I have never been that kind of a person who would sit at home and say, ‘Now I want to put my feet up’. I am doing what I want to do. Working — whether it’s during my pregnancy or post-delivery — has been a point to just say that when has anyone ever said that pregnant women can’t work? In fact, the more active you are, the healthier the baby is and the happier the mother is,” she said.
