OnePlus Z, the upcoming mid-range phone from the Chinese company, has resurfaced online with major leaks indicating specifications, price in India and release date. According to one of the leaks, the phone comes with triple rear cameras, a screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a built-in fingerprint scanner and more. The price is expected to be competitive in the days when OnePlus made relatively more budget-friendly phones. Furthermore, a separate leak suggests that the OnePlus Z will be launched in India on July 10.
The OnePlus Z was reportedly seen in a survey which listed the phone's price and specs, but the name wasn't mentioned. It is believed to be the OnePlus Z, also known as OnePlus 8 Lite, with mid-range specs and a relatively budget-friendly price tag.
The survey states that the OnePlus Z starts at Rs. 24,990 for the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant. Another variant of the phone that comes with 12 GB of RAM is also expected and was recently seen on Geekbench.
The company is also planning an event for July 2 where it will launch two new smart TV series.
According to the survey, the OnePlus Z is expected to have a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It can be powered by the Snapdragon 765 SoC with 5G support, apart from 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The phone is said to have three rear cameras, the main one being a 64-megapixel sensor, accompanied by a 16-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor.
The phone can be supported by a 4,300 mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. The OnePlus Z, like the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, will likely have a built-in fingerprint scanner.
