Kailash Vijayvargiya on Sunday initiated a devastating attack on the Trinamool Congress Government in West Bengal for allegedly giving shelter to terrorists and Maoists in the state. Kailash Vijavargiya is the National General Secretary of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP).
Kailash Vijayvargiya, while speaking to ANI, said, "West Bengal has become a place of refuge for terrorists and Maoists. Unfortunately, the State Government is protecting such people. Recently, a Maoists was given a post in the Trinamool Congress after getting bail from jail. The state is using these people for political interests and patronizing the al-Qaida to seek minority votes."
When asked about the Bihar elections, Kailash Vijayvargiya said that Nitish Kumar has worked and fulfilled the promises he made during the elections.
Kailash said, " Nitish Kumar has worked and fulfilled all the promises he had made in the elections. The Prime Minister has inaugurated plans worth Rs 50,000 crores, just as he promised in the last election."
He furthermore added that the recently passed agri-reform bills would prove beneficial to all farmers. He also mentioned that the farmers' protests were politically motivated.
Kailash said, "I spoke to several farmers in Punjab. To sell in the mandis, they have to pay tax of about six to eight percent in the name of freight and transport. If farmers had the freedom to sell anywhere they wanted, they would pocket the tax amount. The PM has made it very clear that mandis and MSP will remain. Political parties in the state are exploiting the farmers who are stuck in the mandis."
He also stated that the exit of Akali Dal from BJP-led NDA would not make any difference to the presence of the party in Punjab.
His statement said, " The BJP's presence in Punjab will not be affected by the Akali Dal's exit from the party. We will only grow more. Farmers in Punjab are with BJP. We have their support."
Besides this, Kailash Vijayvargiya also talked about the ongoing Bollywood drug case. He said, "It is a matter of concern, a cleanliness campaign is going on in Bollywood that is good. However, senior artists like Amitabh Bacchan and others should make sure that young actors and actresses in the industry should avoid such things as it impacts the youth of the country."
