Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Wednesday retained star batsman AB de Villiers for the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Former South African captain AB de Villiers has joined the 100 crore salary club with this. RCB has retained 36-year-old AB de Villiers for Rs 11 crore for the 2021 season.
With this, AB de Villiers created history as he became the first foreign player to join the 100 crore salary club. With this feat, AB de Villiers was associated with three other cricketers, who have crossed the 100 crore mark so far. He has joined the club along with Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma and RCB captain Virat Kohli.
