Elon Musk has just become the richest person in the world with a net worth of more than $185 million. Elon Musk overtook Jeff Bezos as well in the race to become the richest person in the world.

Increase in Tesla’s price shares on Thursday pushed Elon Musk past Jeff Bezos and made him the current richest person in the world. Jeff Bezos has been holding the same position for three years ever since he first acquired it in the year 2017. Jeff Bezos’ current worth is almost $184 million. Elon Musk’s wealth has witnessed quite a bit surge over the past years and has marked the fastest rise to the top of the richest line in history. This news also marks a dramatic financial turnaround for the world-famous entrepreneur who recently made the headlines due to a rapid cash burn in Tesla and his personal leverage against the company’s stock.

At the beginning of the previous year, Elon Musk’s net worth was just about $27 billion and he barely even made it to the list of top fifty richest men in the world. And now, at the start of 2021, Elon Musk has become the richest man in the world with a net worth of over $185 million. One must say that it is quite a remarkable and unbelievable rise in the area of net worth and wealth.

In the meantime, Amazon’s share price has remained more subdued because of the potential for increased regulation from Washington.

Back in July 2020, Elon Musk surpassed Warren Buffet to become the seventh richest person. In November, Elon Musk left behind Bill gates and become the second richest person in the world. When compared to Bill Gates’ worth, Elon Musk has gained much more wealth than that in the past twelve months. Bill Gates’ net worth is around $132 billion.
