Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met the 12-year-old minor rape victim at AIIMS and her family members. After the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the condition of the girl child is critical. She is currently in an unconscious state.
He said that the child has undergone surgery, the doctors are trying their best to save her. The CM also spoke to the Delhi Police Commissioner regarding the matter. He said that it is expected that the culprits will be caught soon and they will be punished severely. The Delhi government has announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the girl’s family.
Women Commission Chairman Swati Maliwal also met the minor rape victim at AIIMS. She said that the victim was treated brutally. An attempt was made to kill her. Maliwal said that the situation of the victim is critical.
The chairperson of the Women’s Commission said that despite already passing of two days, the Delhi Police has not yet arrested the culprits. In this case, DCP of Delhi Police has been issued summons on behalf of Delhi Commission for Women. She said that the accused should be arrested soon and be hanged.
Significantly, in Delhi’s Paschim Vihar area, all the limits of life were crossed with a 12-year-old innocent. Police officials said that a 12-year-old innocent girl was admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in a blood-soaked condition on Tuesday evening. He told that the girl had deep wounds all over her body and her private part was also bleeding continuously. The entire body of the innocent was soaked in blood.
