Earlier today, the Indian Air Force demanded the removal of few scenes from a soon to be released Netflix movie ‘AK vs AK.’ After a teaser of the movie was shared by the officials, the Indian Air Force demanded the withdrawal of a few scenes from the movie citing the reasons of ‘inappropriate demonstration.’
The Indian Air Force tweeted, “The IAF uniform in this video is inaccurately donned & the language used is inappropriate.”
The tweet further mentioned, “This does not conform to the behavioural norms of those in the Armed Forces of India. The related scenes need to be withdrawn. @NetflixIndia @anuragkashyap72.”

The Indian Air Force made sure to tag Netflix India and Anurag Kashyap in their address of the before mentioned concern.
Later on, Anil Kapoor took to his official Twitter handle and apologised for his part in the mistake. He posted a video in which he was seen saying, “It has come to my attention that the trailer of my new film "AK vs AK" has offended some people. As I am wearing the Indian Air Force Uniform while using unparliamentary language, I would like to sincerely offer my humble apologies for unintentionally hurting sentiments.”
AK vs AK is a Vikramaditya Motwane movie that stars Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap as themselves. It is scheduled to release on Netflix on 24th December.
The synopsis of the movie reads: “A brash film director (Anurag Kashyap, as himself) kidnaps the daughter of a movie star (Anil Kapoor, as himself) and films the star's desperate search for his daughter in real-time as his next blockbuster."
In the one minute long teaser, Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap are seen sparring and using foul language which is rarely witnessed on screen.
The film has been appreciated by many on social media platforms. Responding to the appreciation, Anil Kapoor tweeted: “No more fooling the audience please. As promised, the REAL narrative of #AKvsAK from the REAL AK."
