Lok Janashakti Party (LJP) leader Chirag Paswan said on Sunday that he whole-heartedly welcomes all sorts of criticism from the opposition BJP and even Prime Minister Narendra Modi if it satisfies the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Nevertheless, the Lok Janashakti Party Leader asked the BJP leaders to use their words wisely while criticizing them.
Chirag Paswan’s comments come a day after the BJP leader and the Union Home Minister Amit Shah replied on his “Hanuman of Modi” comment. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “LJP President should not harbor any illusions. In an interview to NDTV, the Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi also called the LJp “vote-cutters.”
Chirag Paswan told ANI, “He (Nitish Kumar)has wasted most of his time to show how BJP and LJP are divided. The Chief Minister is fielding all big BJP leaders to speak against me. I just want to say that they are free to speak against me. I would even say that if the Prime Minister wants to say something against me just to justify the Chief Minister, he can.”
Chirag Paswan also said that the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar should be obliged to the LJP for following the coalition successfully. Chirag Paswan tweeted, “Nitish Kumar Ji should thank the BJP colleagues that despite all the resentment against the Chief Minister, they are playing coalition religiously and every day they give certificates to Nitish Kumar Ji that they are not with Chirag.”
He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for standing by him through this tough phase and credited him for introducing his manifesto “Bihar first, Bihari first.”
Chirag Paswan said, “Prime Minister is in my heart. Prime Minister Modi was standing with me when I was alone outside my father's ICU. He gave such an honor to my father. Should I forget all that? He has loved like a father, this is my personal belief just like religion.”
