The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) puts all rumours to rest ‘Exams not to be postponed’. From the past days, the central board of secondary education was receiving pressure from parents and students with the requests to postpone the board practical exams due to the Terrible changing situation of the pandemic. Multiple rumours were also noticed on social media regarding the postponement of board practical exams. Under the accountability of these rumours, the Central Board officials have issued a statement stating that CBSE hasn’t released any information regarding the postponement of practical exams.
As per media reports, a spokesperson from CBSE has stated that “No news has been released regarding the postponement of practical exams and one should only believe announcements coming from official sources during these uncertain times”
According to the new information of CBSE, students of classes 10 and 12 have been given the facility to change the centres of both practical and theory exams this time through the website. The notification says “It has come to the notice of the board that because of Covid-19 pandemic, students of Classes 10 and 12, along with their families, have shifted to some other city or country and therefore, they are unable to appear in the practical/theory exam from the school/ exam centre where the students are registered for the board exams,”
It also added that “Looking into the problem, CBSE has decided to permit the change in the examination centre.” The provision to change the examination centre for the CBSE board exams 2021 was only available on the official website for a limited time”
Several changes have been announced in the date sheet by CBSE and according to the new revised dates, the 12th class board exam of Physics and Applied Physics will be commencing from 8 June 2021. Students who are going to appear for the board exams 2021 starting from 4th May are advised to regularly check on the official website cbse.nic.in for all the necessary updates regarding the exam.
