Google has launched an app named 'Shoploop' to make online shopping interesting and realistic. In this, you will go to the physical store and will be able to know what the product is like just sitting at home.
Google recently launched an interactive video shopping platform called ShopClues that will help people experience the look and color of the products they like for shopping in real life, without having to visit a physical store. The app, developed by Google's in-house lab for experimental projects called 'Area 120', is now available on mobile and the desktop version will be rolled out soon, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
With the help of this app, users can review the product or recommend it to someone if they like it. All Shoploop videos are shorter than 90 seconds and help people find new products in an entertaining way. Whether it is the practice of applying nail stickers at home or from the color of hair to changing their look. Each product's video will show everything from the way it looks and so on, with the help of which you will be able to form your opinion about the product and decide whether to buy it or not.
Why buy only by looking at the product image?
Google stated that the Shoploop experience is more interactive than scrolling through images, titles and details on a traditional e-commerce site. It also helps users to get product reviews from real people who are knowledgeable about the products of a particular area. Once you find a product you are interested in, you can save the product to buy it later or go directly to the website as soon as you click on the product to buy immediately.
Google said that currently, it focuses on content creators, publishers and online store owners in beauty products in categories such as makeup, skincare, hair and nails. If you are a content creator or store owner in any of these product areas, you can become an exclusive Shoploop creator through the website.
